Summer Holiday Cornish Stylee

What can I say about the Cornish coast....Absolutely breathtaking and as for my recent holiday there it was the most enjoyable time I've had since my trip round the world nearly 6 years ago.

I got up to plenty; clifftop walks, swimming, surfing (well coasting into the beach whilst not falling off the board anyhoo), visiting ancient Arthurian castles, catching up with mates in various parts of Cornwall, oodles of sun worshipping, visiting a few film locations ( Poldark, Doc Martin, The Witches and ....er....Seaside Rescue) and general funess. Can't wait to go back!!!

Weirdest Moment: being woken up by Tom at stupid o'clock at night who then informed me that a Cow was sticking his head into the tent and was coming to join us....no such cow was present, the silly bugger was having a dream.

manliest Moment: After chilling out with a couple of cute ponies the macho male raced down the hill towards us in a slightly threatening manner...the only guy in the group, Rich, pegged it outta there.....way to protect the girlies Rich.

Lightweight of the day: Young Natalie Silverthorn who passed out in the back of her beast of a vehicle during the England vs. Sweden Match....bless.

Favourite Spot: Plenty to choose from really since the whole area is gorgeous but I was very taken with the top of the Headland just off Polzeath beach, the view was particularly stunning. Though St' Ives also gets snaps for reminding me of the beaches in Oz.

Will most miss: Mischief the farm cat who is completely soppy but certainly lives up to her name.

Claim to fame: I have my first surfing injury....after being run over by my lifeguard friend Nat.

reasons to return: more surfing (even if I found muscles I never knew I had), more coves and beaches to explore, proper pasties, the randomness of Cornwall and Nat and Rich!!

Truman Show Rain in Reverse

Went for a 10 mile cycle today...Just to get out of the house and into the sunshine really and whilst I was getting slightly lost around Mundham a few spits and spots of rain came down and a rumble in the sky....Looked for a place to shelter for the oncoming downpour which I figured was fast approaching, but seeing only trees and remembering being under such things is never a good idea in a thunderstorm I chose to take my chances with the rain. To my surprise the clouds moved on and I figured the powers that be had changed their minds.....Until I turned a corner and discovered a completely soaked road littered with huge puddles....Very Truman Show esque.

Really missing Cornwall...Was great to meet up with Nat and Rich and they have a great little piece of England down there...Although it's also sometimes a little un-England like, but in a good way. I really wish I could actually surf but for now I'll take whooshing along on the board it's fun too. Guess I'll just have to go back to Polzeath and try again!

Oooo and have just caught up on two weeks of Doctor Who and I didn't see that one coming!

Short and Sweet

This'll be short one....Went to Bognor squash club to watch the England game on the big screen tonight.....Had far too many Smirnoff Ice's and now have hiccups which kinda sucks! Met up with Paul, Matt and their mate Steve who appreciates rock music which was cool, and we chatted the night away after England drew 2-2 with Sweden...Silly me I thought we were sposed to win such matches. Anyway, had a good night, eventhough these bloody hiccups have now set in for a season....Ever tried holding your breath and hiccuped at the same time...It's not fun!!Still it's not like I have anything to do tomorrow.

In other news went to see the Davinci Code at the flicks last night...Was a good treasure hunt movie and I'm always rather fond of Ron Howard as a director, though it was rather a slow burner....Need to read the book really...But there was some sequences, namely the flashback stuff, which really worked well.

Am off to Cornwall on Friday, which I'm rather looking forward too, and don't have much to engage my brain until then really which is a shame...And to top it all the sun has gone away...Bastard!

Oh I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside

The great thing about Bognor Regis being my hometown is, hands down the beach,....okay so it's not the most outstanding beach in the world, we have a muddy/sandy substance covered by oodles of shingle (for those not in the know these are tons of small stones mixed with seaweed, cuttlefish, the odd bit of rubbish and every so often if you're very unlucky a bit of white dog poo), also the water is f**king freezing. But It's a beach none the less and is a great place to relax and just watch the world go by.

So today, that's just what I did with best mate Clogs and a couple of her ex-work friends. On a mildly balmy Saturday we chatted, paddled, played frisbee (quality of play ranged from shades of crap to duck for cover) and made up sarnies (the butter later going to the great butter churn in the sky when it turned to liquid in the sunshine). Oh and there were donkeys; Ted, George, Bobby and Dudley to be exact, who were really cute and shat all over the prom, bless.

Hello Halo

Whilst worshiping the sun God this morning I glanced up to see a strange ring around the sun through some hazy, high cloud. I love to look at clouds and rainbows...it make's me happy and I figured the effect which I, and my father, observed was something to do with the ice particles in the cloud and the hot and cold air meeting....I guess I did pay attention in science class years ago, thanks Mrs Hare. Anyways, I found a pic which is very similar to what I saw today and it's referred to as a halo, quite apt really. I doubt I'll ever see another and it's a shame I didn't get a picture, but it didn't really stick around long enough to oblige a photo shoot.

In other news, the FX channel are showing repeats of Third Watch, a truly awesome, action packed and brilliantly dialogued series from the US, also available (series 1) on DVD though a tad pricy at £37.99.....maybe when my student loan comes through next year, we can call it research!

Schoooool's Out For Summer!!! (I'm 50 hurrah)

I'm in such a happy mood....I'm all finished at Uni for the year and am now back in Bognor for the summer....and to mark the occasion the powers that be decided to sort out the shite weather we'd been having recently and actually bring on the sunshine. I've been topping up my vitamin D all day and it's amazing what a little sun does to my mood, I'm a Leo so naturally being born in one of the hottest months means I need sunshine to survives or.....Grrrrrrrr!

So, I'm missing my flatmates already, but at least I'll get to see Nat at the end of June when I visit her in Cornwall....so yay. But now I have no-one to watch Big Brother with!

I've just realized that there's loads I want to do over the summer, do some research for my dissertation, get some story ideas written down for my script for next year, go on loads of walks (the countryside round here is gorgeous) and get through some of the shed load of books which are currently bending my bookshelf......for now though it's all about the soaking up of rays and the excellent Wilbur Smith book that I've been, shamefully, reading since Easter and still haven't finished!!

Oh, and I spose I'll take time out of my....ahem....busy schedule to watch the footie tomorrow....who's playing again? ;-)

06.06.06

It's been a while I know but I had my final exam on Monday and I'd spent the week doing revision...god how I hate exams all the tension and worrying and the worst writers cramp after 2 solid hours of writing...ouch. Still it's done and dusted and I can escape for a few months till it all starts again....big whoop!

To celebrate the end of the year there was the obligatory drinks at 'club Mercury' which is always fun with my flatmates...Unfortunately I have to say goodbye to two of them since their moving on the bigger and better things but Nat and Dan it's been a pleasure.

Went to see The Omen remake...it had to be done 06.06.06 and at 6.45pm, a cliche but like that's gonna happen again. The film was actually very good, wasn't sure about Julia Stiles and Leiv Schreiber being the leads, but Schreiber was especially good. It made you jump in all the right places, even when I knew exactly where the jumpy bits were and poor old Nat lost a year of her life when the dogs attacked in the graveyard. There was an interesting use of red motif, which seemed to signify the influence of the whole Satan thing and was especially prominent around Damian. I'm sure I could analyze thoroughly if I was that bothered, it had the desired effect anyhoo. A good film which i recommend.

Oh and what a corker of a finale for Prison Break, have just caught up this evening cause of the drinks session the night before. Can't wait for the next series....which I presume will become The Fugitives?....if of course the scriptwriters can get the unusual group out of that little cliffhanger they chose to leave us with. And next year my arse...Limewire people!!

Top TV Moment

I saw the funniest advert the other day; starts with a pastey white bloke trying, in vain, to do up a pair of swim shorts and cuts to various people doing mundane, everyday type things staring out of the window. The next thing you know the sunshine which was behind a very big black cloud, starts to make an appearance and then all hell breaks loose. People start to crowd into every inch of sunshine in cities and on the beaches. A woman hurriedly slaps on sunscreen to a bunch of brats, people jump into the sea and the streets are suddenly filled with ice cream vans dashing every which way, then everyone looks skyward as the sun disappears back behind the cloud. The pastey white bloke doesn't even make it outside in time for the fun...and the moral of the story...

The Great British Summer!

Thought of the Day

Was reading an article in the paper yesterday about Big Brother and spotted a cartoon which made me ponder. The picture was of Lea and although completely unflattering I couldn't argue that it was a total untrue. Also I saw an uncanny resemblance with a character in one of my all time favourite movies, Labyrinth, and no it wasn't Jennifer Connolly. There was a second character which also struck a resemblance, I believe the name was Tiddler from the Riddlers. Anyway I'll let you decide which ones were separated at birth so to speak.

In other news:

ugliest dog in the world...I dunno think it's kinda cute myself!

Shabaz Has Left the Building

Okay, firstly thank F**k for that, I guess he managed to figure out where the door was after all, now maybe we can see what the other housemates are made of.

Moving swiftly on...I read in the paper today that a teacher in Cardiff claimed that kids are being resourceful by using a high pitched ringtones to get around being caught texting in class. Apparently the tone can't be picked up by the ears of the older generation. How I miss the days before mobile phones in school, we came up with much more resourceful ways to communicate in class, and occasionally we also used the most obvious one...Our voice (doh!)

And finally there's 135 Big Brother 'Golden Tickets' available on eBay. Now I'm no Carol Vorderman, but since there's only 100 actual Golden Tickets in existence somethin' just don't add up. Could it be these poor gullible saps bidding are so desperate for...Ahem... 'fame' that they are in fact bidding for Kit Kat bars (retail price around 40p)....Surely no-one is that dumb (raises eyebrow)

Rainy Days

Boy I hate this weather...I'm sooooooo not a wet and windy kind of person, bring on the sunshine already else I'm going to stowaway on a cargo ship bound for the tropics.

In other news Shabaz has completely lost the plot in the Big Brother house (yes I know I said I hate BB, but it's like a bloody car wreck and I just can't help myself), he's crying over pretty much everything and thinks he's starring on the Prisoner (if you don't like it mate then I'm sure you can figure out where the door is!). Though it was quite funny when Pete spat in his eye tonight. Oh ans as far a Sezer the Sleazer one thinks he doth protest too much.

And finally after researching and writing a 2,000 word essay on the subject (you'd think I'd be bored by now) I've started watching Firefly again from the beginning. Oh how I love and miss that show, it's 'Shiny' . It should be taught as part of the national curriculum and that also goes for Nathan Fillion's arse (the great and powerful Emma has spoken!)

Terry 'The Bloody Legend' Wogan!

Watched the Eurovision Song Contest this evening....was sod all else on, and there was a kind of an Ireland vs Great Britain vs Switzerland thing going on in the flat (Great Britain coming last as usual). Anyway Terry Wogan's commentary was spot on as usual, just the right amount of sarcasm for the countries which insist on voting for each other instead of the song, which is basically all of them in the eastern block.

Well done Finland by the way, not really my cuppa tea, but rock on!

Oh in other news the BBC was taken over during the National Lottery by Father's for Justice (what's left on 'em anyway) which was quite entertaining til the beeb pulled the plug on proceedings, don't think that's ever happened on the lottery before.

And finally heard the best line on BB (Big Brother) this evening during an argument (and yes they've only been in the house two days) said by Sezer aka Sleazer and went something like 'you're so far up your own arse, you've mistaken your bowel movement for someone who cares,' Think the bloke's a complete prat personally but touché with that comment.

Memory Lane

SFX magazine had an article about the best Sci-Fi/children shows of the 1980's, which was a trip down memory lane. Essentially the programmes where from the first half of the 1980's so there was a few there which didn't ring any bells....but who could forget Metal Mickey, the Adventure Game, Tripods or Chocky!!

Part two which is 1985-1989 is next month and I expect a mention about Moondial.

In the same mag there was an article about the possible Americanization of the excellent Life on Mars. BBC America have the rights to show the sci-fi cop drama, but it is also to receive a make over to better to appeal to US audiences. Could be interesting I guess but personally I think they're just jealous that they didn't come up with this corker themselves!

Here We Go Again

Time for THE most shallow, pointless, annoying, false, constructed programme on the face of the planet...yes people, we're talking Big Brother. Heavens above, why oh why is this show still going. Does anyone actually care about these self obssessed, opinionated, plonkers!

' show me nice people, Mother Theresa, Ghandi, Bob Geldof, those are nice pople...everyone else are Bastards.'

101 Ways to Remove a Jenga Brick

Ally invited a 'few' friends over last night to celebrate the end of her course for the year and my reading for my current essay was put on hold to play various bouts of Jenga whilst drinking copious amounts of alcohol.

The games got shorter and shorter, funnily enough, as the empty bottles piled up on the counter and bored with the conventional methods of removing the bricks in the game Dan decided to try various, and much more entertaining methods, examples mainly involved teeth but other methods are better left unsaid, though are more of a 12A certification.

It was an extremely enjoyable night, even if Nat had to get an abridged version this morning since her memory was a little sketchy, the drunken bum.

I have pics on my phone but have no idea on how to transfer them, but I'm sure you can use you imagination.

In other news, Home & Away is all tense and dramalike at the mo; a cult have brainwashed Tash, Kim's in a drug induced coma, Flynn's dying of cancer and has just received a massive electric shock...Oh and there's a cyclone which has materialized out of nowhere and descended on the community causing powercuts and chaos and life threatening situations......just an average day in Summer Bay then. It is indeed cheesey and far fetched but it's entertaining teatime viewing all the same.

That's Better!

Ahhh, was having trouble with my template, kept putting all my details at the bottom for some unknown reason so I've had a change.

Clogs came to visit for the day/last night. We went to the flicks with Nat to see Slither. Not a bad horror pastiche to be honest. Nathan Fillion was good, he does the whole 'normal person reaction' thing well. I liked the movie purely for the amount of the shameless rip offs from other horror flicks, it was a kind of how many can you spot in one movie; The Blob, Critters, Night of the Living Dead and best of all Society (which to be honest I only watched when I was younger purely because Billy Warlock was in it) to name a few. So anyway, I enjoyed the movie, not sure if Nat did though, bit jumpy for for poor wee lass, popcorn kernels kept landing on my head thoughout.

The next day (aka today) we went out round the shops in Southampton and had a lovely lunch in the Hogs Head in town, I gorged on a steak burger and a chocolate melt pudding, which was Homer droolingly luscious!

Time Managment People!!

I really have to stop leaving everything up to the last minute...My time management sucks big term at the moment and yet again I pulled and all nighter to get my uni work in on time. I know, I only have myself to blame, it's not like I have a part time job so I should have tons of tie to get stuff done, but it's amazing how much time you can waste in a day when you have a lot of time to waste in a day.

I have one more project and an exam (well timed essay, but same dif) in this my second year and then I'm really gonna have to pull my socks up....i'm 69% is all fine and goof all the time I'm cramming in all the work in 24 hr sessions but imagine what I could do if I actually started things earlier!!! and I have to pass this sucker with a 1st!

God am i tired!!! my eyes are sore (part tired part hay fever) and i should probably have something other than two galaxy mini's for dinner.

Lost? Absolutely!

I must be the only person in the World who doesn't seem to appreciate Lost. The overly long and seemingly increasing use of flashbacks for back story is irritating and, I find, boring. Whilst the huge cast make it difficult to relate to any given character or follow their particular story arc, since they can often be missing for several episodes in a row. Oh, and there's the multiple, and by Multiple I mean a stupid amount of, plots which the scriptwriters will have a tough time keeping track of and that may never have any resolution, since I predict viewers will ultimately tire of the lack of conclusions and start switching off by season 4.

It is I suppose different viewing in a comeback, of sorts, for the television drama, but, personally, Life on Mars and Hustle are much more entertaining, eventhough it is utterly shameful that they only have a 6 to 8 episode run, against the seemingly endless 20 something for Lost (reminiscent of the 80's cartoon Mysterious Cities of Gold and who can remember how that one turned out?!)

Don't take my word for it, however, as the resident columnist in the Daily Mirror also harbours my theory on the confusibility of this apparent award winning American drama. http://www.mirror.co.uk/tvandfilm/shelleyvision/

Top Weekend Updated

What it says on the tin, I've updated the entry with a couple of pics...Thanks to Clogs for that one.

Ghostwatch Redux

Had a vid night on Thurs night after a busy day and settle in with Ally, Nigel and Nat to watch Ghostwatch, the infamous BBC hoax production from Halloween 1992, and I'm pleased to say it stands the test of time.

For those who don't know the plot, Ghostwatch was centered around a family, a mother and two daughters, who were taking part in a 'live' evening of ghosthunting at their house. Sarah Greene was the reporter on the scene with, the ever reliable, Michael Parkinson in the studio taking phonecalls and talking with the resident expert. There are various incidents of bumps and other sounds throughout the programme which represent the evil 'Pipes' ghost, who seems to live in the cupboard under the stairs. Things come to a head when it's discovered that the airing of the programme has created a mass seance and let the evil 'Pipes' loose on the world. Chaos ensues in the studio and at the same time Sarah Greene is dragged into the cupboard under the stairs, never to be seen again, after which Parky turns all Linda Blair and talks to camera in a strange voice....end transmission.

Apart form the slightly dodgy acting from the mother character and the inability to take Craig Charles seriously, the prog is surprisingly scary. 'Pipes' pops up from time to time in the background throughout the programme and that whole 'figure hidden in the shadows' sends an shiver down your spine. Then there's those damn cats...now I'm a cat lover, but towards the end, the sound of disembodied cats resounds throughout the house and again in the studio when 'Pipes' takes over. It's all about what you don't see or what you think you can see, and this creates a truly creepy and sometimes freakyily atmospheric piece of TV. Just ask Ally who refused to look at the screen when 'Pipes' put in an appearance in the kids bedroom, hiding in the curtains.

I was slightly unnerved also with the prospect of walking down the darkened corridor back to my bedroom, me the TV & Film student who's seen Ghostwatch before, twice!....come to think of it I shat myself then too!

We even had to put on a second DVD that evening to lighten the mood a little before going to bed, namely D.A.R.Y.L, and that was Nigel's idea...yes Nigel, a soldier, defender of our country, hardened fighter and trained to kill, which he claims was purely for the benefit of us girls, naturally ;-).

It's Gone Sunny Again...Yay!

Has been a little while so I thought I'd post an update. Watched Doctor Who at the weekend which had enough new detail to not be a carbon copy of Dark Seasons but since Russell T was paying homage to K-9 I thinks it's safe to say there was a nod to his previous genius from 1991 also. K-9's voice, and it was the original guy apparently, was nauseatingly annoying so I kind of hope that's the last we see of the, so obviously a plastic box on top of a remote controlled car, wee dog.

Saw the huge boat, Freedom of the Seas, which was docked in Southampton over the weekend. A cruise ship which is bigger than the QEII and apparently has the worlds only onboard surf pool. There was a great firework display in honor of the thing monday night which was cool. If you were to stand the ship on it's end it would be as tall as the Eiffel tower, apparently.

I got home from Uni today to find Nigel in the lounge posing for photographs wearing nothing but a white shirt, frilly knickers and a pair of fish net stockings....he's a defender of our country don't you know!

Night in With the Mates

Just had to get an entry in whilst it's all still fresh in my mind....Ok this probably won't make much sense to anyone but me, but I don't care.

In the flat Josh and Ellen were round and Dan was in top form....Ellen struggled to tell a story about going to Rome looking at a statue which she didn't know was the Virgin Mary, not funny when it's written down but the first time she told the tale only dogs could hear it, the second she was crying from laughter and finally she managed to complete the story...By which time we were laughing hard purely because Ellen was.

Then there was Ellen's fixation/fantasy about a bath filled with melted Chocolate and a Battenberg, like I said this will mean nothing to most just a chosen few.

One of Dan's old teachers pronounces develop as devollup and I laughed so hard I turned into Mutley. On the back of this we have decided to start pronouncing random words wrong to see if it catches on.

By the way Dan has comic timing which is pure genius and, freakily we were studying the construct of a Comedic script only today, brings up stuff mentioned a the beginning of a conversation at the perfect moment for much hilarity.

Oh a the less said about 'raping, bumming, Jesus!' the better.......I love my flat!

Back In Southampton

Er....does what it says on the tin really. LThe last semester of my 2nd year now and I should be doing work....or unpacking, but i've got to get up early tomorrow to go to lectures so I can't be arsed to do either....so I'm watching the 2nd half of Sharpe's Challenge instead, Ah Sean Bean....a little rougher round the edges than he used to be but still Sharpe none the less!

Observation of the Day

It is very early in the day so my opinion may change in the next 22hrs, but at the moment the observation is thus.....never watch Never Mind the Buzzcocks whilst drinking water and using the computer as expensive electrical shortages may occur!

My Own Stupidity Astounds Me!

I finally got in another walk with my pa yesterday near West Dean woods and to a little pub hidden away at Hooksway. It was very pleasant walking through the woods and along a bit of the South Downs Way but in my keenness to be a proper walker, I had a stick and everything, I forgot to wear decent thick socks whilst wearing my hardcore boots. Within 20 minutes I had blisters on the bottom of both feet and when I started walking on the edge of my feet I somehow managed to pull muscles in both of my legs. I had to wuss out after I'd walked around 6 miles and reached Chilgrove and sent dear old dad to fetch the car! Yes I suck and it was such a girlie thing to have happen.....grrrrrr!

Doctor Who and Repeat

Just watched the first episode of the new series of doctor Who....Not as good as it could have been but I'm an addict and like to see series through so I won't be tuning out. David Tennant is pulling off the Doctor just fine, and I love his wardrobe...retro chic and yet decidely Doctor quirky. So anyway the upcoming episodes look good...Next week Queen Vic vs. A werewolf and might I say that Rose looks very Buffy circa 1997 in the dungarees. Oh and a brief clip of an unspecified episode had me reminiscing about another of Russell T's TV series aimed at kids from my own childhood.....Dark Seasons, and specifically the first three episodes.

For thoses with the memory of a gnat this brilliant CBBC drama was on in 1991 and about a girl called Marcie and her friends Thom and Reet (a young Kate Winslet), outcasts at school and always thinking the world is out to get them. Marcies gives new meaning to the term eccentric (a bit like the good Doctor) and carries allsorts of essential items in her school bag, including a paddle (because 'you never know when you'll be up the creek') and is instantly suspicious when a kindly benefactor Mr. Eldrich ( tall blonde guy in a Blues Bros esque suit and shades) donates a load of top notch (for the 90's) personal computers for every child in the school. Long story short the computers will brainwash the unsuspecting kids when they switch them on and only Marcie and the gang can stop the evil Eldritch from world domination. It was a fantastic kids drama and I'm lucky enough to have an, unofficial, DVD.....But dear friends Mr Davies has also not forgotten the one time drama as I glimpsed in the trailer for upcoming episodes of Doctor Who a bunch of kids sitting in front of their computers at school, emitting a strange green glow, and a crazed Tony Head (Giles,Buffy) running the halls....the episode is number 3, School Reunion, and I for one will be looking out for the Dark Season comparisons.

Walks and Hunts

What a lovely day it was yesterday, Spring but with a touch of Winter, the wind was chuffing freezing. Still my pa and I made the most of it by walking from Arundel to Amberly across the fields and along the river Arun. It was around 5 miles and we stopped for lunch in Burpham where there were a small herd of, get this, Bison. Now I've never seen a real live Bison before and this particular herd, behind the church, were awesome and even had a calf which was soooooo cute. We continued walking on this old smugglers route and came across a suspension bridge at the edge of a field, kind of in the middle of nowhere really. Ahhh the oddities of the sussex countryside.

So after my attempt at ambling during the day, my evening was spent at Reigate caves up in Surrey, doing my ghostbusting effort. The caves a pretty interesting, even if the guys which run them are a little more than strange. For the most part not much happened, an unfortunate trait of this particular hobby, but saying that i did gat an annommally on one of my pics (bottom left corner). I can tell you what it's not; it's not a stone, sand, a reflection, smoke or someone's breath....what i can't tell you is what it is.

Don't Panic!!!

Nice to know that the trusty British news broadcasters don't intend to produce a panic state amongst viewers over this old bird flu business. Switched on the TV today and it's all 'Bird flu reaches the UK!' 'Should we be worried about eating chicken!' 'Have the government done enough!' 'Are we at risk!' blah, blah, blah. My take on the whole thing.....Quit worrying! There's not much we can do about it anyway and,, at the moment it's not even transferable human to human...You've got more chance of being hit by a bolt of lightening and for fucks sake if you find a dead bird, don't pick it up! We'll all get along just fine and I won't have to shout at you for being stupid. And as for the news broadcasters stop pretending to be all American about it, report on the stupidity of Bush instead...Hours of entertainment for all the family there and pretty much guaranteed never to run out of material, so everyone's happy.

Oops I've Been Slacking

Okay, so I know it's been a while, just over a week since my last posting to be exact. But then again I've had a hectic one.

I had lectures and filming early last week then I found I had to come home a couple of days earlier than predicted because my old man had to go in for surgery and wouldn't be able to pick up me, or more accurately all my junk. So I was way busy trying to get the reading which I needed for over Easter, packing and squeezing in a couples of sessions at the gym.

So anyway I'm home...Back to my little place in the sun, and what a lush few days we've had down here in Bognor....sunniest place in the UK I'll have you know, so suck on that Miami!!

The best thing about being back, well I haven't had the chance to catch up with friends yet so this at the mo is top, and that's Sky TV people, oh and a Limewire connection which doesn't take a millennia to download.

I've certainly been making the most of the latter in the last few days, I hate to wait for stuff, especially when said stuff is excellent dramas such as prison Break or Navy: NCIS so I've pretty much downloaded the lot. My poor computer is showing me what it's made of that's for sure....Now if it could only download a life sizedWentworth Miller or Jensen Ackles ;-)
