Something for the Weekend

The inner moppet wobbly has abated, finally, but the weather outside has taken a decidedly dodgy turn being all grey, damp and somewhat blowy...joy...that'll be spring then. So, I've been a ponderin' as to what the heck to put in this 'ere space of interweb.....and so I bring you the TV Theme Tune Lyric Quiz....tis a flashy name which took me all afternoon to think up, can you not tell.

There's 25 shows to identify, some easy, some less than so and I've taken into account that many folk who peruse my pages are from that other land across the waters...so no excuses for getting stuck....There's no prize, but for the knowledge that you a are a smarty pants....who perhaps watches a tad too much television....but then what does that make me...ahem....moving on....the Quiz:

OK, at first I thought I wasn't getting a bunch of them because it's late and I'm tired. But after looking at Kimberly's answers, I realize it's because I've never seen at least 8, and there's a few others that I haven't seen since they went off the air.

And I thought I was so up on this kind of thing. I'm so ashamed ;)

By crikey I wasn't expecting someone to be quite as quick with the answers as that!....seriously Kim, you venture away from the Televison on occasion right? ;-)

Firefly Mom....I'm surprised you can't get 7...since you live with a form of what the show was all about.

Strictly speaking 14 is Robin of Sherwood....but sinces there's like a zillion versions of the legend (see dissertation for listings) I'll let it slide....as for 20....no-one got any idea....it was based around a kids classic book and aired in the late 70's, though over here was on during pretty much every summer of the 80's.

I guess the next time I have a go at a quiz I'll need to make it MUCH harder!!

Ok, well Kim aka Smarty Pants got pretty much all the answers...just #7. Harry and the Hendersons and #20. Huckleberry Finn and Friends stumped her....so well done Kim

Harry and the Henderson's was a TV show, too?? I only remember the movie. Where the hell was I (no doubt, chasing after my own Sasquatch ;)
